In the main page, you can select whether to do single note practice or practice with piece with a MusicXML file.
In this mode, you can practice sight reading, the music note is generated according to the user settings. You can play the note in two ways, if you want to play on real violin, tap the "listen" button to use the mic to listen, when you play a note, the recognized note will be printed and a color display will tell you how accurate the note is compared against the standard frequency. The second way is, to use the simulated fingerboard to tap the correct note position. In either way, if the correct note is played, a message "Good Job!" will display, if we have enabled automatic generation of next note, the next note will be generated after a few seconds, otherwise, tap the "next" button to generate the next note. Tap the speaker button to play the note and show the location in the fingerboard, Tap the gear button to customize note generation options
In this mode, you can practice a whole piece by MusicXML file, you can either play with the example MusicXML file or top the add button to add your own. Tap on any of the file to start playing. In the playing mode, if you want to play on real violin, tap "listen" button tap to listen, then tap "start" to start playing, watch the blue vertical bar for the current expected note, if you use "wait for correct note" mode (this option can be changed in the settings page), the bar will not move until you have play the correct note, otherwise, the bar will move at the normal tempo
In the settings page, we can choose a few options, including whether to send anonymous analytics data to help developer with further development, the strictness of the note accuracy check.
